My ancestors came from Scotland and migrated to the United States just after the turn of century in the 1900s. To commemorate my heritage, I created an ink drawing from a photo of a farm house or a country cottage located southwest of Edinburgh, Scotland.

Over the years he has won first place in 30 art competitions from the district, regional, state, to the national levels. His work has been entered into the Luxembourg European World Art Competition.

When I was a boy I loved to go out after a rain and hunt for frogs. I did not know what to do with the critters after they had become my prisoners trapped inside a jar except to let them go.
